Kitten makes 6,500 mile trip on LA-bound ship

Los Angeles County animal control officers say they're cautiously watching the health of a kitten found in a container at a Compton-area business. A 3-month-old kitten appears alert after stowing away in a freight container on a boat from Shanghai to Los Angeles.
